Bankruptcy Attorneys / Atlanta, Chicago or St. Louis
A top AmLaw 100 firm is seeking highly motivated, well-qualified junior to mid-level attorneys with two to four years of experience in the following areas:
- General bankruptcy law and practice, including familiarity with law and procedure in Chapter 1;
- Finance aspects of a restructuring practice, including analysis of loan and perfection documents, out-of-court workouts, and debtor-in-possession financing;
- Litigation, including motions, objections, discovery, and court appearances in Chapter 11 cases, avoidance actions, and receiverships;
- Distressed transactions, including sales under Section 363 of the Bankruptcy Code, Article 9 sales, and assignments for the benefit of creditors, and advising on deal structures; and,
- Real estate workouts and litigation, including foreclosure, deed-in-lieu transactions, and forbearance.
Candidates also should have: excellent written and oral communication skills, superior analytical skills, and the ability to manage client engagements; a strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple priorities and assume a high degree of responsibility; and, experience in attending and presenting during court hearings, including federal, state, and bankruptcy courts. This position may be filled in Atlanta, Chicago or St. Louis.
